Canopy Garden Dining is a gorgeous restaurant. It's housed in a huge glasshouse with an alfresco bar at the side. Natural light fills up this beautiful place in the day, while at night, the restaurant lights up from the inside and emits a certain attractive glow to passer-bys. Plus, this place is dog friendly, so you can bring your fur kids to the alfresco area to wine and dine.

Small Bites Platter- $28 

This platter contains onion rings, calamari rings, truffle fries, chorizo sausage, prawn paste chicken wings & hot sauce chicken wings with blue cheese. They're the usual fried stuff, nothing to scream about but simple and comforting to have.

Baked Black Cod Fish - $38 

Their baked black cod fish is served with teriyaki sauce, mashed potatoes & seasonal vegetables. I won't say it's the best I've had. The best I've tasted so far is at The Disgruntled Brasserie. It's decent but I do wish it didn't come at this price tag especially since the restaurant is housed in Bishan park. But I guess cod being cod... it naturally commands a higher price. It's not as smooth as the better ones out there, but still moist and tender enough. Plus the terriyaki sauce was delicious and was probably the savior.

Grilled Angus Ribeye (200G)- $34 

A simple grilled angus ribeye served with wedges & seasonal vegetables. Again, nothing fancy, just decent steak with savoury brown sauce. You can pair this with a bottle of their red wine and I found their house wines to be cheaper than average ($39/bottle). Plus I was pleasantly surprised to find that they actually have a decent range of wines in their mini wine cellar.

Yorkshire Pork Rack- $27 

Now this is one huge and marinated grilled pork rack, served with caramelized onion sauce, seasonal vegetables & mashed potatoes. I like that the meat is really thick and nicely charred. Although it was a just a little dry, it is still delicious, partly because you get a satisfying chunk of grilled meat with every bite.
