Started off the day with a mandatory meal of yong tau foo at the REAL ampang, then proceeded for some sight-seeing at the twin towers. It's my 4th time in KL but my 1st time seeing the twin towers because... well... I was never a fan of buildings when I was young and that hasn't changed. And that clearly ran in the family. But I gotta admit the twin towers is really a sight to behold! (and super great for photos!)
One of the highlights of this trip is definitely bringing my family to smoke shisha. Yes we do it in KL because when we're back home, no one is adventurous enough to go out, much less smoke shisha. Meh. So anyway, I like how my whole family has never smoked shisha besides me, AND THEY ALL SMOKED WAY BETTER THAN ME. Even my 13-year-old brother, who technically isn't allowed to smoke shisha but hey, we're in KL. So, again, MEH. And we're all saying how my brother is a potential smoker and laughing about it. LAUGHING like HAPPILY. I swear my family suddenly becomes super hip only when they are overseas and living on zero rules. Like how we all had towers of beer every night in KL because, you know, that's my dad's idea of a holiday- drowning himself in cheap booze every night. But hey, I can't complain since that's my idea of fun too.
