A foodie in Bangkok: Ruen-Mallika Royal Thai Cuisine

This is one hell of an impressive place to dine in and I'm super glad that my amazing Thai friend, Erng, brought my friends and I to this restaurant. I swear without her I would have missed out on this amazing place for the rest of my life.  Firstly, the set up of the restaurant is amazing. It's sort of like a humongous tree house set amongst a few big trees. If you have a big group, you can book a private dining room like us. Secondly, they serve AMAZING traditional Thai food which is both a feast for the eyes and the taste buds.

I can't remember all the dishes ordered but I think we had beef curry, an assortment of fried vegetables (Chun-Cheu-Boos-Sa-Ba), fresh vegetables with some sort of a spicy crab dip, tom yum soup, pineapple rice, little cups of otah, basil chicken, and some small saucer of coconut appetizer. Everything was good, and I felt the standout dishes amongst every good, is the beef curry (which I heard won an award!) and the assortment of fried vegetables (Chun-Cheu-Boos-Sa-Ba). The latter was more of an interesting experience for me, munching different kinds of flowers which I never knew existed, much less know that they can be eaten!
